A refund will be issued if a system time out error results in a duplicate filing.  Refunds under this circumstance can be requested by contacting the Corporate Registry at 1 877 526-1526 between 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Monday to Friday,  excluding statutory holidays.  Corporate Registry staff will arrange with the credit card service provider to have the duplicate payment reversed from your credit card.  

When you complete a filing on Corporate Online, such as incorporating a company, you will have created a new legal entity or document that becomes part of the official record.  Filings on Corporate Online have legal implications to you and the company.  You are urged to seek professional advice before you incorporate or register a company or make other filings using Corporate Online.  The electronic filing is the official record and refunds will not be issued if you complete the document filing and then change your mind.
